a slightly different version of curry. More mild than classic Madras curry. The dominant flavours are turmeric and cumin, and the mustard seeds. It's well balanced. tastes great on whole roasted chicken. I like that you can see whole ingredients in the blend. not too expensive and very economical packagings.

This is the curry of my childhood. The flavor is an Indian curry more than a Thai curry not spicy but flavorful. My mother would brown some onions in butter then make a rue by adding flour this spice mix and chicken broth and a little coconut milk or half and half cream adding shrimp and serve over rice and there is nothing curry wise that compares to this comfort food. While my taste buds have matured and I appreciate more complex curries this is so nostalgic for me that I crave it a few times a year and am so glad it tastes the same!
